Classic and glamorous. Camila Cabello turns heads in a lace-up white satin gown with floral details and sweeping floor length train at the 2022 Met Gala, held first Monday of May, at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
It’s the second time for Camila Cabello’s appearance at the New York’s biggest fashion celebration and fundraiser event, and things are just getting beautiful for her. The “Señorita” singer without Shawn Mendes, her ex boyfriend, showed up in her most glamorous style, wearing an all white gown with floral detailing on the sides and a dramatic long train.
Cabello, 25, just ascended to the red carpet looking every inch straight out of fairytale with her dreamy look, from her gown to her hair tied up and adorned with florals. The singer must be living in her dream wearing a creation by Prabal Gurung which seemed perfectly fitted for her. The designer might not have even mistaken about her measurements, who also joined her at the event.
The design and cutout of the gown looked perfectly meant for Cabello as it highlighted every inch of her body. The lace-up crop top and it’s crisscross straps puzzled from her ribs to her chest, enough to bring her exact sexy look.
Cabello’s ex Shawn Mendes, 23, was also present at the event, who arrived ahead of her. Shawn wore a gorgeous navy suit and a coat by Tommy Hilfiger. Last year in September, they made their couple debut to the Met’s carpet in a Michael Kors creation, where Camila flashes her legs in a high slit sequined purple gown, Shawn wore his abs in an open leather blazer and black pants.
But in November, two months after they walked the 2021 Met’s glitzy event, the couple announced via their instagram that they’ve decided to end their romantic relationships, after more than two years of dating and so much onscreen chemistry. But they noted that their love for one another as humans is stronger than ever, since they started their relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.

In America: An Anthology of Fashion. Camila Cabello’s white satin gown by Prabal Gurung still haunts heads. It’s enchantment continues even after the Met Gala’s night. Definitely it served the Met’s theme, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion, for it’s a exactly a piece of an art worth a collection.
Cabello even wrote to her instagram how proud she was for Prabal Gurung, stating that her gown was made up of sustainable and upcycled materials, because in a time of climate crisis, she and her designer believed that the most valuable things in a natural world are the finite resources.
